The AICT Bulima Dispensary, managed by The Lion of Judah Academy, offers important and essential health care services to our students and our community. It is the primary health care facility for several thousand people.
We are in the process of upgrading to become a Health Care Center -- a recognized type of health care facility in Tanzania. Good and trustworthy health care is challenging to find, and that is what we provide.
Although we have completed most of the work required for the upgrade, and are being permitted to operate in much the same way as a certified health care center, there are still important steps we must take to achieve that status, such as developing an operating theater, finishing a mortuary, and a few other improvements.
In addition, we offering services (such as dental care, mobile clinics, a blood bank and refrigerated mortuary) which are seldom available in rural areas. Because of that, and due to the high quality of loving, Christ-centered care patients receive, we regularly have patients traveling hours to come to our health care facility.
