The Lion of Judah Academy Secondary School Library construction was started in 2004 and the library went into use the following year. 

Most buildings on the campus are assigned names from the Bible, so shortly following completion the Library was named, "Tree of Life Library".  This name was selected by the Nannette Hutchens Family, who were faithful and enthusiastic supporters of the school.  Tragically, William suddenly passed away around that time, and the building was dedicated to honor his memory.

During most of the time since it's establishment, the library has served as the main campus library.  Recently, however, the Primary School holdings were relocated to an area at the Primary School.  That has had two impacts on the Secondary School Library.  First, it has freed up quite a bit of space for additional books.  Second, however, it brought into focus how much of the library had been dedicated to the needs of the primary school, and how little (and outdated) the secondary school oriented holdings actually were!

This purpose of this project, therefore, is to build up and modernize the Tree of Life Library holdings.  And to accomplish that while honoring the memory of William Brossy, as well as the faithful support of Nannette Hutchens and her daughters for over 25 years!

The school staff has prepared lists of books which are very much needed in the library, and are appropriately focused on the academic needs of the Secondary School students.  Proceeds of this project will be used to acquire books and resources on that list.
