Currently the secondary boys do not have a dining hall.  They share with the secondary girls or the A-7 students.  There is not enough room for them to be under a covering.  This is making the conditions very crowded. We need a dining hall for all these secondary boys. Mtebe, our director, has the plans drawn up and some money has been donated to get it started.  We will need help providing funds for the building and the cookers.

Update November, 2021 -- Work has started on the Dining Hall Project and significant progress is being made.  We are very grateful to those who have contributed to make this possible.  More will be needed.  You can see the progress of the work to date (November, 2021) in Recent Updates on the right.

Update December, 2021 -- Work has been progressing very well, but we have a way to go!  We're temporarily on hold as we await more funds.  Take a look at this album to see an overview of the progress from the beginning.  NOTE:  The "Raised" amount of zero doesn't reflect the true amount...all of the funds raised so far have been donated apart from this platform, so they are not reflect here.  We need about $10,000 more to complete the project.
